Astronomy notes is an educational resource for introductory astronomy classes for undergraduates. This section discusses the sun and other stars. Topics discussed pertaining to the sun include: the solar wind, sunspots, the structure of the sun, hydrostatic equilibrium, luminosity, detecting solar neutrinos, and helioseismology. The next section discusses properties of stars, such as mass and luminosity relationships.
