This website contains lectures, homework, exams, and other materials for a PER-based large lecture modern physics course for engineering majors.  This course has redesigned content and learning techniques focused on topics more useful to engineering majors than a traditional modern physics course. The course emphasizes reasoning development, model building, and connections to real world applications. A variety of PER-based learning resources, including peer instruction, collaborative homework sessions, and interactive simulations, are used. Research results on learning outcomes from the course are included.
