Newton's Third Law
published by
the College Ready Math-Science Partnership
This set of student labs provides two inquiry-based activities exploring forces and Newton's Third Law. Using a low-friction cart on an incline, a spring, and force and motion detectors, the relation of forces between objects can be explored. This material is designed for teacher training workshops that encourage greater student-guided activities in the classroom. The partial-inquiry and inquiry based activities are based on PTRA activities on momentum.
This is part of a collection of similar resources developed by the College-Ready Math-Science Partnership at the University of Arkansas. This activity was originally developed by PASCO and modified by the College Ready MSP.
