Bell Local Realistic Spin Model
written by
Juan María Fernández
The Bell Local Realistic Spin Model implements a vector representation of the adhoc Classical, Local and Realistic, version of two Spin 1/2 particles in a singlet state, as described by John S. Bell in Bertlmann's socks and the nature of reality, Journal de Physique, Tome 42, Coll. C2, supp au Num.3, p. 41, 1981, and in the book, Speakable and Unspeakable in Quantum Mechanics, Cambridge Univ. Press, 1987. A video tutorial is available in this item's sub-documents.
The Bell Local Realistic Spin Model was developed using version 5 of the Easy Java/JavaScript Simulations (EjsS) modeling tool. It is distributed as a ready-to-run (compiled) Java archive. Double clicking the jar file will run the program if Java is installed. You can modify this simulation if you have EjsS installed by right-clicking within the map and selecting "Open Ejs Model" from the pop-up menu item. Please note that this resource requires at least version 1.7 of Java (JRE).
