The President's Council of Adviser's on Science and Technology (PCAST) present the report Prepare and Inspire: K-12 Education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Education for America's Future. This report provides a strategy for improving K-12 STEM education that responds to the tremendous challenges and historic opportunities facing the Nation. The reports recommends further use of standards and extensive increases in teacher recruiting. The report also advises greater use of partnerships and improvement in diversity.
