A simulation illustrating the workings of a Van de Graaff generator. The user can change the size of the dome and observe its effect on the capacitance of the generator. The link to the original version of the simulation provides a thorough explanation of the concepts involved. As the dome charges, the charge accumulated and the electrical potential are shown.
