Detail Page

published by the Center for Science Education @ Space Sciences Laboratory UC Berkeley
This page contains links to a collection of astronomy-related lessons for K-12 science education. All the lessons are standards-based and arranged by grade level. Topics include satellite data tracking, classifying galaxies, the electromagnetic spectrum, an exploration of the planets, graphing stratospheric ozone, spectra from space, and more.

The lessons were developed and reviewed by NASA-funded teams that include educator-scientists and K-12 teachers. They offer the pedagogical perspective of veteran teachers plus the expertise of practicing scientists.
