This workshop from the 2006 PTEC Conference explores the use of computer simulations to teach physics concepts. The simulations covered are predominantly on introductory level materials, how these tools are designed, research on the use and success of these simulations, and educational applications. The workshop explores the computer simulations and the growing database of classroom applications of these simulations. All of the computer simulations as well as lessons using these simulations are freely available online for download at http://phet.colorado.edu.
