This simulator implements the Wheeler's Delayed Choice Experiment in an ideal Interferometer of Mach-Zehnder type, as desccribed by John Archibald Wheeler and Wojciech Hubert Zurek, Editors in "Quantum Theory and Measurement" , Princeton Series in Physics, (1984).
The simulator shows the basic fundamental ideas of the Quantum Mechanics:
Wave-Particle nature of Photon
Probabilistic interpretation of Quantum Mechanics
Superposition of Quantum States in Beam Splitting
Interference of states in One Photon experiments
The striking difference between Photons and Classical
particles, i.e. between Quantum Mechanics and Classical
Common Sense intuitions
The simulator has a wide target range, from High School to Physics Undergraduate students.
WheelerDelayedExperiment.pdf is a PDF file with the QM Background and the simulator use.
WheelerDelayed_1.mp4 is a video tutorial and User Guide.
