ODE Solver Properties Package

The ODE Solver Properties Package explores the error when solving the simple harmonic oscillator differential equation using different numerical algorithms.  The numerical and analytical solutions are compared and the global error are plotted and tabulated.

The ODE Solver Properties Package was developed using the Easy Java Simulations (Ejs) modeling tool.  It is distributed as a ready-to-run (compiled) Java archive.  Double clicking the math_ode_SolverProperties.jar file will run the program if Java is installed.

Please note that this resource requires at least version 1.5 of Java (JRE).
