Workshop: Apply and customize a JavaScript simulation for physics classes

MPTL Event
Sep 11, 2015 - Sep 12, 2015 in Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich

A workshop for German teachers that provides an introduction to the EjsS modeling software and other OSP tools to participants (freely on available on OSP and EjsS websites) and leads participants through the process of installing and downloading simulations to create a personal collection.  We will also discuss the general pedagogical and technical issues in the design and use of interactive simulations and we will show how to download and modify simulation source code in order to adapt simulations to individual needs. Participants are encouraged to bring tables to run the Reader app and laptops to install and run the EjsS authoring and modeling tool.

Participants are asked to bring their own laptops in order to install and run the EjsS authoring and modeling software. Android and iOS devices can be used to use simulation, but not to edit simulations.
