default to frame number and pixels instead of seconds and metres

Dear Douglas,
Is there a way to set up the preferences so that tracker defaults to displaying frame number (instead of seconds) and pixels (instead of metres)? I realise that when the unit for displacement is set to 1, pixels and metres are the same but for the time line it would be nice to have frame number instead of seconds as the fps info in many of my video clips are incorrect anyways (often it is the playback speed rather than the recording speed).

There is no way to change the defaults but as I'm sure you know you can set the variables once the tracks have been created.
You can set the correct fps of a high-speed or slo-mo video in the clip settings (5th button on the toolbar). This seems much easier than leaving time in frames requiring you to convert to time separately. Doug
