I just purchased a new Dell XPS 15 with ultra high resolution touch screen using windows 8. The tracker text almost too small to read. Doesn't seem to matter what screen resolution setting I use. Works fine on my older Dell windows 7 laptop.
Try increasing the font level in the Edit|Font Level menu. When you find the level that works best for your resolution, you can set a preferred font level in the preferences dialog Display tab (Edit|Preferences menu). Doug

James, can you give me some info about your setup?
1. what Tracker version and OS are you using? 2. What Java VM are you using? (to find this, choose Help|Diagnostics|About Java) 3. Where are your starter preferences being loaded from? (to find this, choose Help|Diagnostics|Start Log and look for a line like "loading starter preferences from: C:\Users\Doug\AppData\Local\OSP\tracker.prefs") 4. Where are your Tracker preferences being loaded from? (To find this, choose Help|Diagnostics|Message Log and look for a line like "INFO: preferences loaded from C:/Users/Doug/AppData/Local/OSP/tracker.prefs") 5. Are there lines in the preferences file like "1" and "0" (to find this, choose Help|Diagnostics|Preferences File)
Thanks! Doug

Hi James--thanks for the info. Sure enough there is a bug that prevents Tracker from using a preferred font level higher than 3 :-( I will make sure that is fixed in the next release.
I appreciate your bringing this bug to my attention! regards, Doug
