% does not work very well for height and I would not use it.  I have also stopped using % for width because it only works well for browsers (not for ePub) and it can also fail to give good results if the simulation is running is running in a modal div or in an iFrame.  I recommend fixed pixel width and height that are chosen to match the display device.
