scalarField - Show Legend - can it be controlled to display inside a panel of my choice?

current situation:
the show legend of the scalarField 2D is critical to understanding and relating to the colours of the scalarField and what it represents but it is currently showing up as a uncontrollable (to me) dialog box type outside the simulation - Main window.


problem:
when the simulation is run, the simulation the Legend box blinks often making the experience of reading the Legend box rather unpleasant.


proposed solution:
can please add a way to add the Legend box inside a panel that can be inside any of the panels to give a integrated look and feel (see attached mock-up picture) without the blinking when simulation is running.
