Hello,

I'm a teacher from Switzerland that regularly use this awesome app that is Tracker!

Since macOS Tahoe 26.4 I receive a warning that Rosetta 2 will disappear in a couple macOS 28 (still have time!) and therefore Tracker couldn't be used anymore because it is an Intel app.

Is there plans for an updated version of the app for Apple Silicon?

Thank you for this app!
Best regards,
Loïs Oïhénart

I have not had any issues whatsoever running the latest Tracker on Apple silicone.  Although Apple silicone supports Rosetta 2 , it is only used so that old Apple Intel software can run on new machines. I do not think the latest Tracker has any Intel code.

Hello

Thank you for your answer. However from what I see the latest version of Tracker (6.3.4) is still an Intel app.
When we right-click it and show the informations it appears as such no?

Tracker now runs in compatible mode, not apple silicon native. It need to be compiled by apple silicon tool chain. You can open Activity Monitor in your mac, and check Kind tab, you'll find a
"Intel" after Tracker process, while others may show ''Apple".
