IPAL is a free Moodle module (plug-in) that enables in-class polling.

IPAL (In-class Polling for All Learners):

• supports multiple-choice AND free response questions;
• grants access to ready-to-use questions from the ComPADRE question databank;
• sends images to students automatically with the question text;
• allows responses from any web-enabled device (laptop, tablet, smart-phone, etc.) so that students do not need to own a clicker; and
• is free and open source.
