This resource is an index of more than 15 interactive virtual microscopy techniques. The user manipulates focus, intensity, magnification, and translation in a manner identical to real-life microscopy. Techniques include SEM (scanning electron microscopy), translational, laser scanning confocal, phase contrast, integrated circuit inspection, polarized light, optical staining, and flourescence combination microscopies.
This item is part of a larger collection of resources on optics and microscopy developed by the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory at Florida State University.
