This is an interactive Java applet developed to help beginners learn about graphing polynomials.  Users may adjust the coefficients/constants to see how the graph changes.  View the curves for the individual terms (e.g. y=bx ) to see how they add to generate the polynomial curve. Teaching ideas and activities are included. The direct link to the simulation is given as a mirror URL.

This item is part of a larger and growing collection of resources developed by the Physics Education Technology project.  Each resource was designed using principles from physics education research.
