This applet compares the blackbody spectrum of the sun to visible light. The user can learn about the blackbody spectrum of the sun, a light bulb, an oven, and the earth. They can adjust the temperature to see the wavelength and intensity of the spectrum change. The color of the peak on the spectral curve can be viewed.
