This item is an introductory lab that examines the concept of uniform motion.  In the lab, students use stopwatches to measure the velocity and acceleration of various moving objects, and then graph the data.  Each investigation is based on a commonly-known physics lab activity which has been expanded to promote analytical reasoning.  Materials are inexpensive and readily available.  This item is part of a larger collection of online physics labs by the authors.
