This website offers various virtual laboratory experiences to support a curriculum in Nanotechnology.  Topics covered range from  basic electricity and magnetism to topics in semiconductor physics, microelectronics, and nanotechnology fabrication and instrumentation. The approach covers the material at a level that is understandable to introductory physics students but covers all details, such as semiconductor structures and electronic device design, necessary for a complete understanding of the technology. Models are used to explain microscopic physical concepts.

This project is supported by grants from the National Science Foundation, the University of Virginia, IBM, and Discreet Corporation.
