This applet illustrates the principles of constructive and destructive interference in transverse waves moving in opposite directions. Users can begin by shaping the two wave pulses using the two sets of handles located at both ends of a line. Clicking on "Run!" will allow users to view the resulting interference as the pulses travel along the line.

Please note that this resource requires Shockwave.
