In this applet users can play Plinko to develop a better knowledge of statistics. The user can drop balls through a triangular grid of pegs, see the balls random walk through the lattice, and watch t up he histogram of final positions build up and approach the binomial distribution. This simulation is part of a larger collection developed by the Physics Education Technology project (PhET).
