The Electromagnetic Spectrum: X-Rays

Visit this NASA site for an introduction to x-rays and their uses in medicine and astronomy.  You'll find descriptions of the first x-ray observations, how they are used to visualize parts of the body, and results from x-ray astronomy.  The site contains striking astronomical images made with X-rays.  You'll also find links to related sites describing other parts of the electromagnetic spectrum.
