The Exploratorium's website is a vast resource for informal learning and for science teaching as well. It offers hundreds of hands-on activities, with many conveniently listed by topic (go to "Educate," then "Hands-on Activities) and loads of cool webcasts, especially in astronomy, easily accessed from the homepage. The "Explore" and "Educate" tabs across the top of the homepage offer lots of features, ranging from dissection of a cow's eye to text and vivid images on global climate change.
