The Astronomy Center has provided educational resources to introductory astronomy educators since 2003. Over the past 20 years, the rapid pace of discovery has rendered some of our linked resources obsolete. Thus, the Astronomy Center will be decommissioned on March 1, 2022. Our highest quality resources will be retained on ComPADRE.org.
Peer Instruction for Astronomy is an instructor's guide to a method of enhancing lecture classes in introductory astronomy. This technique requires that the instructor have a large number of conceptual short answer questions aimed at a variety of levels. This book provides the first compilation of such problems for Astronomy. It also includes hints on use of the technique and applications of the method.
