Over the past 20 years, the rapid pace of discovery has rendered some of our linked resources obsolete. Thus, the Astronomy Center will be decommissioned on March 1, 2022. Astronomy and Cosmology: The Description, Origin, and Development of the Universe is a section of a larger tutorial describing the uses of remote sensing. The author disscusses many topics in astronomy and cosmology like: a review of relativity, the origin of the universe, stellar astronomy, galaxies, the age of the universe, the expansion of the universe, dark matter, dark energy, and the philosophical implications cosmology has on religion. There are also numerous images, photos, and useful links incorporated in these tutorials.
