This web page contains materials developed for an advanced laboratory course for physics majors. The course covers aspects of experimental optics and modern physics. The course places a significant emphasis on developing, testing, and refining of models; experimental design; communication; measurement and automation (using LabVIEW); and data analysis (using Mathematica). Lab manuals, materials to develop laboratory skills, assessments, and information on learning goals are provided.
