This web site is a hyperlinked encyclopedia of concepts in Astrophysics. The main topics covered include Black Holes, Compact Stars, Observational Astronomy, and Stellar Astrophysics. Each of these main topics contains articles on subtopics. Each article has both textual and mathematical definitions of the terms covered as well as selected references for further reading and links to other articles in the encyclopedia.

This is part of Eric Weisstein's World of Science, an extensive online encyclopedia of Physics, Astronomy, Chemistry, and Mathematics. There is also a large selection of biographies of scientists and mathematicians.
