Website Detail Page

written by Tom Kirkman
This website contains a tutorial which addresses several examples in introductory quantum mechanics. The author explains each example using classical mechanics first, followed by quantum mechanics, then a contemplative comparison of the two approaches. The examples include: (linear) constant force, spring force (harmonic oscillator), central force, square-well potential, delta-function potential, and electrons in a lattice. Homework problems are provided.
