written by Fu-Kwun Hwang
This simulation demonstrates the mechanical advantage that can be achieved by a pulley. There are three systems with different numbers of pulleys connected to masses. The systems start at equilibrium. The user can change the masses of the blocks and observe the resultant motion.

This is part of a large collection of java simulations of physical systems. A discussion board for each simulation is available and registered users may download the program.
