This applet presents a graphical, interactive picture of projectile motion. The illustration depicts what will happen when two cannons at differing heights are aimed at each other and fired at the same time. By manipulating initial velocity and position of the cannons, the learner can make inferences about the relationship between velocity and trajectory or the effects of gravity on thef trajectory.  This applet is part of a larger collection by the same author.
