Detail Page

written by Tom Henderson
This is an interactive tutorial for high school physics on electric current and the requirements of an electric circuit. From a conceptual standpoint, it explores the nature of charge flow and the function of the charge carriers. From the mathematical standpoint, it explains current as a rate quantity and provides simple exercises to calculate the flow of current.

This page is part of The Physics Classroom, a comprehensive set of interactive tutorials, labs, and simulations for students of introductory physics. The Physics Classroom is one of the ComPADRE digital library collections.
