Problem 9.5: Determine the constant potential energy in each region

Please wait for the animation to completely load.

Shown is a plane wave incident on several different regions. Each region has a constant potential energy associated with it.  In the animation, ħ = 2m = 1.  You may click-drag within the applet (up or down) to change the energy of the incident plane wave. Regions I and VI have a V = 0.  Determine the potential energy height, Vi, associated with each of the remaining regions.
