Bungee Jump with Hysteresis JS Model
written by Michael R. Gallis
The Bungee Jump with Hysteresis JavaScript Model adds elasticity and energy losses in rubber bands to the orginal Bungee Jump Model.  This simulation is designed to be used as a scale model "bungee jump" using a rubber band cord and inanimate mass. The values of the parameters are typical for a toy-doll bungee jump student activity. The user sets L0 (the unstretched length), FL2x (the loading tension required to stretch to 2 L0) and FU2x (the tension re-reach 2 L0 when unloading from a very elongated state). A velocity-postion phase space graph, an energy bar graph, and a force response graph are shown when the simulation is run.

The Bungee Jump with Hysteresis JavaScript Model was developed using the Easy Java Simulations (EjsS) version 5.  It is distributed as a ready-to-run html page and requires only a browser with JavaScript support.
