written by
Jen Trinh and Amy Bug The EJS Mechanics Package: Challenging Intro Physics Topics contains Easy Java Simulations (Ejs) models used in a high-level Introductory Physics course for physics majors. The topics include vector kinematics in polar coordinates and linear momentum with rockets. Ejs, a part of the Open Source Physics Project, is designed to make it easier to access, modify and generate computer models. It is distributed as a ready-to-run (compiled) Java archive. Double-clicking the ejs_mechanics_sampler_klepner_kolenkow.jar file will run the program if Java is installed.
