written by
Harvey Gould, Jan Tobochnik, Wolfgang Christian, and Anne Cox The STP TemperatureMeasurementEinsteinSolid program displays a histogram of the energy of a demon that exchanges energy with an ideal gas of particles. The purpose of this simulation is to understand how the demon acts as an ideal thermometer. The default system is an Einstein solid of N=40 particles. Additional states and parameters can be specified using the Display|Switch GUI menu item.
