written by
Colin F. C. Thomson The Morris-Lecar Model is an abstraction of the Hodgkin-Huxley Model that has two state variables: the voltage within the neuron and a potassium gating variable. This model gives three presets for parameters and allows the user to open a new window to see the phase space. By viewing the phase space and adjusting the parameters him- or herself, the user can gain a complete understanding of the dynamics of this neuron abstraction.
