Hello Tracker users, this is Doug Brown. I need some feedback from you on whether the Thai language is displaying correctly in recent versions of Tracker.

I discovered on my Windows 11 laptop that since switching to the OpenJDK Java VM the Thai characters are shown incorrectly as little squares. I think I have found a fix but I want to determine if the problem occurs in all recent Tracker installations.

If you're using Tracker version 6.3.0, 6.3.1 or 6.3.2 on Windows or MacOS and you have time to help, please do the following:

1. Launch Tracker, choose Help|Diagnostics|About Java and confirm that it is running in the bundled Java 21.0.5 OpenJDK Runtime Environment. If not, you can open the Preferences dialog (Edit|Preferences), change the Java Virtual Machine to the default (OpenJDK) and restart.

2. Choose Edit|Language and look down the list for the Thai language (TH). It will be displayed as either little squares or valid Thai characters.

3. Please send an email directly to me at dbrown.tracker@gmail.com with (a) your OS, (b) your Tracker version and (c) whether you see squares or Thai characters.

Thank you!  Doug
