I can no longer press the ''search'' button for autotracking

Hi,
So I've been recently experimenting with the software for a class, and I've been able to track multiple times a said object and analyze its position and everything related to it.
However, since then, I've retried to do the same, and when I click on my point, select auto tracking, press CMD + SHIFT + CLICK on a point, all it does is skip to the next frame, and the ''search'' button, while being visible, is not pressable.
I am on the latest version of MacOS, I've also updated the software to its latest version.

I wonder if you're holding down the wrong button or if your CMD button doesn't work. What you describe and show is what happens when you shift-click the video without the CMD button down. You can tell from the cursor what action you are taking: when it is a crosshair in a square you are marking a point (shift-click) but when the crosshair is in a circle you are marking a key frame.

Wow thank you so much... indeed I was simply pressing the wrong combination of buttons. I'm glad it was that simple of a mistake but I also feel dumb from it lol. Thanks a lot I really appreciate it!!
