Browser version chromebook bug

When I change the size of the embedded window of tracker in chrome on a chromebook, the part where the video or any graphs are shown become blank. I can get it to show back up by zooming or scrolling, but it quickly becomes blank again. My students all only have chromebook, so I am relying on the browser version. With their screen size the default size of the tracker browser version is set really small. I have attached a screenshot of what happens.

I don't know if this is a bug that would be easy to fix, especially since it doesn't happen in my browser on my windows desktop. One possible solution that I can think of is to move the text below the tracker window that starts with "What is Tracker Online?" to be lower on the webpage, so the default size of the tracker window can be bigger.

If anyone knows a way to avoid this happening or to make the window bigger without this happening, please let me know.

Kevin-  I have confirmed this bug on my iMac and my MacBook but it only occurs on Google Chrome.  It does not occur on Safari or Firefox so it may be difficult to debug.

Can you try a differnet broser on Chromebook?

Kevin:  We are working to track down this bug.  We have a BETA page of a full screen JavaScript version of Tracker tha seems to work in the Chrome browser and should work on your Chromebook.

https://physlets.org/tracker/trackerJS/index_ff.html

To resize Tracker, you resize the Browser.  There is not any narrative and Tracker should always fill entire browser frame.

Please let us know if this works on your Chromebook.

Hello. I cannot use any browser except chrome on my chromebook because the school restricts what apps I am allowed on my chromebook. I tried out the page that you linked of a full screen browser version and I have not encountered that same problem on my chromebook. In other words, this one seems to work fine, though I only tried out the test experiment that I was doing on my chromebook to make sure that tracker worked on chromebooks for my students. Also, the fact that it is the full window makes it much easier to work with since our screen on the chromebooks are quite small.

Thank you so much!

Edit: I forgot the most important thing. I tried resizing the size of the browser to change the size of the tracker window and it did not blank out like it did when I resized it in the other browser version.

Resizing the Tracker Online main window by dragging the lower right hand corner should now work on all platforms.  Clear the browser cache to ensure that you have the lastest code.
