Hi Tracker users,

The latest Tracker is ready :-)  This version enables you to easily export data from multiple tracks as a single delimited text string that you can save to a file or copy to the clipboard. It also fixes some minor bugs.

To upgrade, click the green "Now available" button on the toolbar and choose Upgrade Now. If you don't see the green button choose Help|Check For Upgrades.

You can also download installers directly from the Tracker home page (http://physlets.org/tracker/) or ComPADRE (http://www.opensourcephysics.org/items/detail.cfm?ID=7365).

Cheers and happy tracking!  Doug

The online JavaScript version of Tracker has also been updated to release 6.0.8.  Except for only supporting web video formats such as mp4 with the H264 codec, this JavaScript version of Tracker uses the same code and supports the same features as Java Tracker.

Hi Mr Brown,

Thank you for the new version of Tracker, It's very cool!

I ask you a advice. For my work with Tracker, usually I used the protractor.

I saw in the last versions that tools is change. The image of the protractor is different compared to previous versions.

Can I change the tool as it was before ? If yes, What is the procedure to be performed ?

Because for the object that I have to follow with the autotracking and my work the old protactor

is better.

Thank you in advance.

You can hide the circular ruler by unchecking the "Ruler" checkbox on the toolbar when the protractor is selected.
