I have tracked an item in a video clip with a specific "step size" (in Clip Settings). Then, after reducing the "step size", I have to re-select the specific item (track) for the data table or graph to be refreshed. It would be more functional if the data table and the corresponding graph were automatically updated.
I can't reproduce this problem on my Windows 10 machine--the plots and tables do refresh automatically whether or not the track is selected.
Perhaps you mean that you marked points at a step size > 1, then when you reduced the step size there were missing data points (unmarked frames). That is unavoidable I'm afraid!

Initial step size 1, final 10. So I wanted to reduce the number of displayed points, increasing the step size. Sorry about that. Anyway, a clean installation solved the problem. Thanks.
