I am using Tracker 5.1.5 and reopening a edited Tracker-File takes very long time. While editing a file there is no performance problem, but when I close the file and reopen it, Tracker is overloaded and I cannot do anything for up to one hour. Is there any way, to restart the file faster? I set the RAM in Tracker to the Maximum of 1500 MB and I tried to start the file directly from the workspace as also through opening the file in Tracker. Thanks for any advice.
A TRK file size of 3.7 MB is huge, Jo. Can you send it to me by email? You can get my email link at the top of the page at https://physlets.org/tracker/. It sounds like something is not loading right. Doug

for compliance reasons, I cannot share the video. Are there any options I can try? The videos I am analyzing are about 1 Minute long. Is that to big for Tracker? I evaluate 3 point masses with Autotrack. Are there settings to minimize the size of the .trk file?
Hi Jo, I wouldn't need or even want the video, just the trk file. Tracker should be OK with that size video and 3 tracks. Unfortunately there are no settings to minimize the size of the TRK. I just wonder if there is some bug preventing it from loading as it should. Doug
