any way tracker can be used to estimate the motion of a takeoff airplane?

Hi prof doug,

i can only find video on youtube that has some panning of the camera for takeoff of airplanes.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfXPffUEbkA&list=PLE50D167B4B87206A

can this video be used to plot the motion of the airplace during takeoff, i know tracker can compensate for an origin offset and a perspective change but i am not sure how to analyse this kind of panning and non-90 degree type of video.

any thoughts?

:)

Hi Lookang. I think it would be very difficult to get much data from this video. There are simply too few trackable features with known dimensions, distance, etc.  Maybe the time would be better spent finding (or taking) a different video?? Doug
