Tracker 6.0.6 on Mac seems unable to load videos

I installed the new Tracker version on Mac but I am unable to upload videos. I tried mov and mp4 (both with H264 codec), but always seems unable to load. I checked permissions, conflicts with previous versions, java, settings, etc, following suggestions from previous threads.
Anyone else experiencing similar issues? Any suggestions for how to solve this problem?
