I use tracker 5.1.5 with my macOS catalina 10.15.6

i installed it last week and everything worked great. i opened it today and tried to upload a recent video so i clicked file > open new , and then a bunch of weird folders that i have never seen popped up and i realized the location was set to macintoshHD but when i clicked on the dropdown menu to change it to something else more familiar, there were no other options. i messed around with it a bit (i am not tech savy) and now its even worse. now when i click file the only options i have are exit or properties. please help, i have to use this 3x a week for homework. thank you
