Video renders incorrectly

Problem with video file here:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/11n2SmkSmGuvN2ycbIf52Pkqsbemtgswj/view?usp=sharing

We'd like to select start frame 179, end frame 199.

No matter how we rewind the video, the first image does not render correctly.

Paul

Your *.trz also fails on my mac.  The original file had a problem on a PC.

If I rewind your file to the beginning, the first step seems to move backwards and then the rest of the 20 steps in the motion move forward in time.

Any idea what's going wrong with the video rendering?

Paul

Paul--yes, I see the same thing you describe but there is nothing I can do about it since it is caused by the Xuggle video engine over which I have no direct control. I saw errors like this (but worse) with the Xuggle 5.4 release several years ago which is why I stopped using it and went back to the 3.4 release.  Doug

Thanks, Doug.

That was my guess.

Is there anything we can do to knock some heads together at the Xuggle development team?

There's nothing to be done. The Xuggle development team is non-existent. They abandoned the project a few years ago and AFAIK nobody has picked it up :-(  Doug
