Sorry if this is a known issue, I am a new user, and also have not been able to find anything to help me in the forums.
Anyway, my issue is that Tracker doesn't start unless I have just turned on my computer. I've tried running as an admin, but that still doesn't change anything. I see its process in Task Manager for a few seconds, then it disappears. It writes to the startup log, but it seems to not do that right away.
I am running a 64 bit system, with both 32 and 64 bit versions of Java installed (I installed and switched Tracker to 32 bit Java after it gave me an error message saying that video doesn't work with 64 bit).
My system: - Windows 10 (Education, Version 10.0.14393 Build 14393) - Intel i3-4170 CPU @ 3.70GHz, 3700 MHz, Dual core - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
I have attached a start log from a failed startup attempt, in case that is useful (though I think you should
I do love the software when it does start up though. It's really well done, thanks for making it free.
Hello Galactus, unfortunately this is not a known issue, as far as I know it has not been reported before. The start log looks normal and Tracker starts up fine on my Windows 10 machine with Java 1.8.0_111. It is especially perplexing that it works when you have just started your computer.
You might try double-clicking the C:\Program Files (x86)\Tracker\tracker.jar file. I don't really expect this to behave differently but it's worth a try.
Have any other users out there experienced this problem?
